Access & Accounts
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed under your account, including submissions, comments, and purchases.
Eligibility & accuracy
- Provide accurate, current information and update it when it changes.
- Use the services only if you can form a legally binding agreement in your location.
- We may suspend access to protect users, content integrity, and platform security.
Course access rules
- Content may be delivered via video, text, assignments, live sessions, or critique rooms.
- Access windows and cohort schedules (if any) are shown at checkout or in your enrollment email.
- Sharing logins, redistributing files, or screen-recording paid sessions may result in termination.
Payments
Prices are listed per course. Taxes may apply based on your location. By purchasing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the provided payment method for the total shown at checkout.
Pricing & promotions
- Discount codes apply only as stated and cannot be combined unless explicitly permitted.
- We may adjust pricing for future purchases; changes do not affect prior completed orders.
- Some offerings are limited-seat; your seat is reserved only after successful payment.
Billing issues
If a charge fails, we may retry the payment and/or suspend access until resolved. If you believe a transaction is incorrect, contact support promptly before initiating a chargeback.
Refunds
Full refund within 7 days if you have not submitted the first assignment. Where a live session, coaching call, or limited-seat event is included, refunds may be limited after scheduling.
How to request
- Send your request from the email used at purchase and include the order details.
- We may ask for confirmation that course materials were not downloaded/shared beyond permitted use.
- Approved refunds return to the original payment method; processing time depends on your bank.
Non-refundable cases
- Purchases made outside the stated refund window.
- Users who submitted the first assignment (unless required by law otherwise).
- Abuse, fraud, or violations of Conduct that led to termination.
Conduct
Respect participants and subjects. Abuse or plagiarism leads to termination. Our learning spaces are designed for documentary and reportage practice—act professionally, ethically, and lawfully.
Community standards
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or doxxing.
- No impersonation, deceptive identity, or misrepresentation of authorship.
- Only upload work you own or are licensed to use; properly credit collaborators when required.
- Do not solicit personal data from other users or attempt to bypass platform security.
Submissions & feedback
You retain ownership of your submissions. You grant LensCrafta a limited license to display your work for course delivery (e.g., critique, grading, and private cohort review). We do not claim ownership.
Liability
Services are provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LensCrafta’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
No guarantee of outcomes
Educational content can improve skills, but results vary based on practice, experience, and external factors. We do not guarantee publication, employment, or specific creative outcomes.
Dispute handling
- Contact support first to attempt an informal resolution.
- Any legal disputes will be handled in a competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
- If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.
